Extras: Pro Wrestling Recipes

Prepare these tasty snacks before right before any pro wrestling event for guaranteed happy guests. These recipes are good to eat, easy to make, and [best of all] are wrestling themed!

Sting's Crunchy Scorpions
These tasty, non-toxic treats are sure to be a big hit with Sting fans (and anyone else who likes to pretend they're eating multi-legged critters). Begin preparing them about three hours before Nitro or Thunder to ensure these crunchy crawlers are ready to be devoured.

SURGEON GENERAL'S WARNING: The consumption of real live scorpions may be hazardous to your health.

2 (6-ounce) packages of butterscotch-flavored chips
1 (6-ounce) package chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 (3-ounce) package of chow mein noodles
1 cup dry roasted peanuts

Combine butterscotch and chocolate chips with condensed milk in a saucepan. Cook at low heat, stirring frequently, until the chips are completely melted. Remove from heat and pour into a large bowl. Quickly mix in the noodles and peanuts and stir thoroughly. Using a tablespoon, drop medium-sized portions of the mixture onto cookie sheets lined with wax paper. Pinch the end of each cluster to elongate the form of the tail (coating your fingers with butter makes this easier). Chill for two hours and serve.

For those of you who dig the spicy flavors and the melted cheese of nachos, here is the perfect recipe. You can honor the wrestler we named the recipe after by sprinkling sliced bits of Slim Jim on top. And, if snacking on this while watching World Championship Wrestling, don't be surprised if you uncontrollably blurt out "Viva La Lucha Libre! OOOH, Yeah!" when Rey Mysterio Jr. walks down the entrance ramp.

Macho Nachos

1/2 pound ground beef
1 small onion
2 jalapeno peppers diced
2 small tomatoes diced
8 ounces shredded or melted cheddar cheese
1 head of shredded lettuce
1 package of taco seasoning
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup guacamole
1/2 cup salsa
1 cup chili (optional)
2 bags of tortilla chips

Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add onions and taco seasoning. Arrange chips on large plate and layer beef, lettuce, peppers, chili, tomatoes and cheese over chips. Place sour cream, guacamole and salsa in small bowls for dipping. Serves 3-5. Turn on Nitro or Thunder and wait in anticipation for Macho Man - or better yet, Gorgeous George - to make an appearance.
